How To Order Delivery From Chick-fil-A

To place a Chick-fil-A delivery order online, download the app, create an account, then choose to order delivery. You can choose the Chick-fil-A location you want to order from and make your menu selections. The Chick-fil-A delivery will be fulfilled by DoorDash.

Here is how to place a Chick-fil-A delivery online through the app.

Step 1. Select “Delivery” from the list of ordering options.

Step 2. Fill out your address, and from there, you can select the Chick-fil-A location you want to order from.

Step 3. Now you can look through the Chick-fil-A menu. Then you can head to your cart to place your order.

Step 4. Before checking out, make sure you are signed in to your Chick-fil-A account to access any reward points you want to redeem.

Step 5. Enter your payment details, confirm your order, and select a tip amount for your driver. The delivery is fulfilled by third-party delivery apps like DoorDash, so you will be subject to their service and delivery fees.

Can You Order Chick-fil-A Delivery on DoorDash, GrubHub, or Uber Eats?

You can bypass the Chick-fil-A website or app and order delivery directly through DoorDash, GrubHub, and Uber Eats. You can search for Chick-fil-A in one of these apps and find the closest one in your area. From there, make your selections and place your order.

These third-party delivery apps each have their own subscription membership program that offers free delivery and lets you earn points that go towards reduced fees and rewards.

The Uber Eats Pass or “Eat Pass” costs $9.99 a month but offers unlimited $0 delivery on eligible restaurant and grocery orders, 5% discounts on orders over $5, and exclusive discounts.

DoorDash’s subscription service, DashPass, is $9.99 a month and offers $0 deliveries from eligible restaurants. However, if the restaurant is not eligible, the service fees are still lower if the total is $12.

The monthly subscription for GrubHub is the GrubHub+ (GrubHub Plus) membership.

Costing $9.99 a month, GrubHub+ gives members $0 delivery fees from eligible restaurants, VIP access to Elite Care for priority customer service, deals, perks, and local events.

Can You Use Chick-fil-A One Rewards or Points for Delivery Orders?

You can use Chick-fil-A One rewards or points on delivery orders. Points will only be honored when an order is placed through the Chick-fil-A website or app. Chick-fil-A One rewards and points cannot be used when ordering through Uber Eats, GrubHub, and Postmates. In addition, rewards cannot be redeemed for free delivery.  

The Chick-fil-A One rewards program is a free-tiered loyalty program that allows customers a chance to save money by accumulating points that can be redeemed for free sandwiches, desserts, sides, and drinks.

For every pre-tax dollar, you earn 10 points as a basic member. The point values increase by status; Silver, Red, and Signature earn 11, 12, and 13 points per pre-tax dollar.

Each status has a required number of points you need to earn to reach.

To reach Silver, you will need to earn 1,000 points — 4,000 for Red and 10,000 for Signature. The points need to be accumulated within a year to be eligible.

Do You Tip Chick-fil-A Delivery?

Chick-fil-A delivery orders are fulfilled by third-party delivery services like DoorDash, and it is recommended to tip the drivers 15-20% of the order total. The tip amount can be added to the ordering process at checkout.

Drivers for GrubHub, Uber Eats, Postmates, and DoorDash receive 100% of the tips and rely on them since the base pay is low.

Delivery drivers are considered contract workers and rely on tips to cover most of their expenses.

All service and delivery fees are shown to you before you place the order, but these are not shared with your driver since these fees are not part of their payment.

It is not required, but it is recommended to tip the driver between 15-20% of the order’s final total.
