Apple Pay has security features built-in to protect your payment transactions. In addition, Apple Pay requires verification through Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode before any payment goes through.

According to Apple, Apple Pay does not store any credit or debit card information linked to your Wallet on any local device. Instead, the information is encrypted and sent directly to Apple servers.
