Chick-fil-A is known for its famous chicken, which is featured in all of their delicious sandwiches. From their secret recipe to special cooking techniques, there’s a lot to love about Chick-fil-A’s chicken sandwiches.

There may not be a whole lot of sandwiches on the Chick-fil-A menu, but sometimes less is more. Besides, you can make substitutions or add extras to your sandwich to make it exactly how you like it. I decided to try every Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich and see which one was the best. Read on and let me know if you agree with my top pick.

7. Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap

Chick-fil-A’s Cool Wrap is made with grilled chicken breast slices nestled in a fresh mix of green leaf lettuce with a combination of shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheeses. All of these are tightly wrapped in a flaxseed flour flatbread. I liked this wrap, especially when paired with their Avocado Lime Ranch dressing, but I ranked it last because it didn’t have that oomph factor for me. I love the fact that they’re made fresh every day, though.

6. Grilled Chicken Sandwich

The Grilled Chicken sandwich includes a grilled chicken breast served on a toasted multigrain bun with green leaf lettuce and tomatoes. Chick-fil-A recommends pairing it with their Honey Roasted BBQ sauce, and I agree that it complements the flavor of the chicken. This is a good sandwich for anyone looking for a lighter, more health-conscious option on the Chick-fil-A menu. One thing missing for me here was the bacon, though, and that brings me to the next sandwich on the list.

5. Chick-fil-A Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich

This sandwich features lemon-herb marinated chicken breast and is served on a toasted multigrain brioche bun with Colby Jack cheese, applewood smoked bacon, green leaf lettuce, and tomatoes. If I want to order a grilled chicken sandwich at Chick-fil-A again, this would be it. I liked the citrusy lemon zest flavor on the chicken breast, and the addition of bacon definitely took the sandwich to the next level.

4. Spicy Chicken Sandwich

If you love spicy food, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich may be right up your alley. It’s a simple but tasty sandwich that includes a boneless chicken breast coated in a blend of spicy peppers. Dill pickle chips are added for some crunch and extra flavor, and everything is served on a toasted, buttered bun. I liked the spiciness level in this sandwich. It’s spicy enough to give you a bit of a kick but not too spicy that you’d immediately reach for your drink.

3. Spicy Deluxe Sandwich

What earns this sandwich the “Deluxe” title is the addition of lettuce, tomatoes, and Pepper Jack cheese to the original Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Let me tell you that all these ingredients made a difference. For starters, the Pepper Jack cheese added that extra layer of spiciness and creaminess to the chicken breast. The lettuce and tomatoes brought on that freshness and crunch factors to cut through the spicy flavor. Overall, I enjoyed the Spicy Deluxe Sandwich more than the original, and if you’re on “Team Spicy,” I recommend choosing this one.

Chick-fil-A’s Deluxe Chicken Sandwich includes a boneless seasoned chicken breast served on a toasted, buttery bun with dill pickle chips, lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I got mine with American cheese, but you can also order it with Colby Jack or Pepper Jack cheese. I can tell you that this is an all-around tasty chicken sandwich that most people would enjoy. There’s a lot to love here because all ingredients complement each other’s flavors, and there are multiple textures going on in every bite, from creamy to crunchy. But is this the best Chick-fil-A chicken sandwich? I don’t think so.

This is the sandwich with the classic recipe that started it all and made Chick-fil-A one of the best fast-food fried chicken chains. The Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich features a boneless seasoned chicken breast that’s pressure-cooked in peanut oil and served on a buttery, toasted bun with dill pickles. Nothing beats the original, so this was the best chicken sandwich I tried at Chick-fil-A, hands down.

The chicken breast was cooked to perfection, and the fact that there were not many other ingredients in the sandwich let the chicken be the star of the show, as it should be. I’ll go by saying that this is not only my favorite Chick-fil-A sandwich but also one of my favorite fast-food chicken sandwiches of all time. If you’re visiting Chick-fil-A, this is a must-try menu item!
