Most Publix liquor stores are open from 10 am to 9 pm, seven days a week. Some Publix Liquors open late on Sundays, at 11 am. On certain holidays, Publix liquor stores may have reduced hours.

Simply enter your zip code, city, or state in the box below where it says “Find a store.”

Then go to the “Filter” box on the right of the screen, select “Liquor store” from the drop-down menu, or click on the magnifying glass icon to the left of the “Filter” box.

A list of every Publix liquor store near you will then show up, and you can confirm the hours for your local store.

Most Publix liquor stores are open from 10 am to 9 pm every day. Note that holidays can affect these hours, and some locations open at 11 am on Sundays.

Does Publix Liquors Have Delivery?

Publix Liquors offers delivery through Instacart in states where alcohol delivery is allowed. You can order delivery from Publix Liquors using the Instacart app or the website and select same-day delivery or schedule a delivery in advance.

However, you cannot combine a Publix grocery delivery order with delivery from Publix Liquors.

Once you’re on the Instacart website, you will need to enter your delivery address and select Publix Liquors as your store. You will then be redirected to the store’s landing page.

Here, you’ll see all items available for delivery at your local Publix Liquors store. Note that the items are also grouped by category on the left-hand side of the website.

Ordering Publix Liquors delivery on the Instacart app is a similar experience, and we’ll give step-by-step instructions on how to do it in the next section.

Instacart offers alcohol delivery in 14 states, including California, Connecticut, Florida, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Washington, DC.

Therefore, customers can only order delivery from Publix Liquors in Florida, North Carolina, and Virginia.

Unfortunately, Publix Liquors customers in Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, and Tennessee cannot order alcohol for delivery.

Once your order has been placed, an Instacart shopper will fulfill your order and deliver it within the selected timeslot.

Although tipping is optional, the recommended tip amount is 15-20%. If you choose to tip, it will be paid directly to the Instacart shopper, not a Publix associate.

How Much Does Publix Liquors Delivery Cost?

Publix Liquors delivery is more expensive than shopping in stores. Liquor prices are higher when ordered on Instacart, and there are additional service and delivery fees. Publix Liquors’ delivery fee starts at $3.99 for same-day orders over $35.   

When you shop on Instacart for Publix Liquors delivery, the first thing you may notice is that the prices are higher than they are in-store.

The reason for increased prices is to cover the cost of Instacart providing the overall service, which includes shopping for your order.

Although tipping is optional, you should also factor that into the overall delivery cost.

A 15-20% tip is recommended for Publix Liquors delivery, which is the standard in the service industry.

Although prices are higher when shopping online, you can still save money by taking advantage of deals on Instacart.

You can also sign up for Instacart Express, a membership option for customers who want to save money and access other exclusive benefits.

For a flat annual cost of $99 or a monthly $9.99, you can have access to unlimited free deliveries on Instacart for orders over $35.

Instacart Express members can expect to save an average of $7 per order, which adds up over time.

How To Order Publix Liquors Delivery

Ordering delivery from Publix Liquors is done entirely through the Instacart app or website. After creating or logging into your Instacart account, you can place your order from Publix Liquors and select a delivery time. A person over 21 with a valid ID needs to be present to accept the delivery.

When it comes to alcohol delivery, Instacart requires a person over the age of 21 to be present to accept the order.

You will need to provide a state ID and proof of age before the Instacart shopper hands out the order.

Follow these steps to order Publix Liquors delivery through the Instacart app:

1. Log in to your Instacart account. If you do not already have an account, create one by clicking “Sign up” next to “Log in.”

2. Search for “Publix Liquors” in the search bar at the top of the screen.

3. Search for the items you want and add them to your cart.

4. Once you are done shopping, click on the shopping cart icon in the top right-hand corner to begin the checkout process.

5. Review your order to make sure you have everything you need, then click “Go to checkout” at the bottom of the screen.

6. Enter your date of birth to verify that you are at least 21 years old, the legal age to purchase and consume alcohol in the US.

7. Enter your delivery address. This is the location your delivery will be brought to.

8. Enter your desired delivery time. You can choose priority delivery to get your order ASAP, standard delivery to receive your order within 2 hours, or schedule a delivery in advance.

9. Enter your valid credit card information. Debit and credit cards are accepted. You can also pay with PayPal.

10. Add your tip. This is optional, but the standard is 15-20%.

11. Click on “place order” at the bottom of the screen to submit your order.

Does Publix Liquors Have an Ad?
