Although it was reminiscent of other sweet and sour sauces, the Polynesian Sauce has a richer sweet flavor that reminds us of honey or molasses.

Chick-fil-A’s Polynesian Sauce is not only great with nearly anything from Chick-fil-A, but it is also great to keep around at home.

Polynesian Sauce doesn’t just go great with chicken; we think it also pairs well with steak, fish, pork, and shrimp. 

What Are the Ingredients in Chick-fil-A’s Polynesian Sauce?

Chick-fil-A’s Polynesian Sauce combines several forms of sugar and vinegar with a blend of spices to create a unique sweet and sour sauce. It is also free of all common allergens such as gluten, tree nuts, dairy, and eggs.

All Chick-fil-A’s dipping sauces are available at restaurants in 1 oz. packets. Participating Chick-fil-A restaurants also sell Chick-fil-A, Polynesian, Barbeque, Honey Mustard, and Garden Herb Ranch sauces in 8 oz. bottles.

8 oz. bottles can also be purchased online at Chick-fil-A for pickup or delivery. Pickup options include carry-out, drive-thru, and drive-in, and delivery is fulfilled through third-party delivery services.

Orders can be placed online through the Chick-fil-A website or mobile app. Chick-fil-A delivery is fulfilled through DoorDash, GrubHub, Uber Eats, and Postmates, and availability will vary by location.

Chick-fil-A One members can also redeem coupons and rewards points with each online order.

1 oz. packets come complimentary with many orders, while 8 oz. bottles cost $2.50- $2.75.

Some Chick-fil-A catering orders, such as Chick-fil-A Nuggets Trays, also include complimentary 8 oz. bottles of dipping sauces.

Do You Need to Refrigerate the Chick-fil-A Polynesian Sauce?

While individual 1 oz. packets of the Chick-fil-A Polynesian Sauce do not have to be refrigerated because they are meant to be for immediate consumption; Chick-fil-A recommends refrigerating 8 oz. and 16 oz. bottles after opening as written on the product label.

However, keeping individual packets in the refrigerator will help to keep them fresh longer.
