By Lana Kisner | November 25, 2023
Flame-grilled burgers are what Burger King is all about. The restaurant chain cooks 100% beef patties and pairs them with fresh toppings to truly let you “Have it your way!” Some Burger King burgers are stacked high with multiple patties for hungry diners, while others are for smaller appetites looking for a snack or a light meal. Here are the best burgers to order at Burger King whenever the mood strikes.
15. Triple Whopper With Cheese
This burger will surely satisfy even the hungriest appetite. Stacked tall with a whopping three ¼ lb. beef patties, it has a lot of protein and even more flavor. While it’s tasty, it has A LOT of beef, and I personally would rather spend my daily calories on a bit more variety.
Juicy tomatoes, fresh lettuce, crunchy pickles, and sliced white onions top the three flame-grilled patties. Melted American cheese is also included in this version, and it’s completed with mayonnaise, ketchup, and a sesame seed bun. You can further customize your burger by adding bacon or mustard.
14. Double Cheeseburger
The Double Cheeseburger is simple yet savory and filling. With double the meat and classic Burger King toppings, it’s a tasty go-to menu item that will satisfy your hunger. There are two signature flame-grilled beef patties in this burger, as well as melted cheese, crinkle-cut pickles, yellow mustard, and ketchup. All of these are served on a sesame seed bun. You can customize your burger by adding bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise, or another patty.
13. Double Whopper
The Double Whopper makes the classic Whopper more filling with an added portion of meat. It has all of the original Whopper fixings but comes with two ¼ lb. flame-grilled beef burger patties. Like the original, it’s topped with tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, and onion. There’s also mayo and ketchup, and all of these are served on a sesame seed bun. You can further customize it by adding bacon, cheese, or mustard.
12. Bacon Double Cheeseburger
This burger adds a hearty portion of meat to the original Cheeseburger. It stacks two beef patties with bacon and just the right toppings to bring out the flavor. It also has melted American cheese, crinkle-cut pickles, mustard, and ketchup on a sesame seed bun. You can add lettuce, tomato, onion, mayonnaise, or another burger patty to make it a triple.
11. Hamburger
Sometimes, you just want a plain and simple burger, and that’s where Burger King’s original hamburger comes in. This budget-friendly option is made with one beef patty topped with crinkle-cut pickles, mustard, and ketchup, all served on a toasted sesame seed bun. Want more on your hamburger? You can add bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion.
10. Rodeo Burger
The Rodeo Burger brings you the taste of the South. This burger is savory and delicious, and it makes me feel like a kid with a stack of fried onion rings. I usually order it when I’m craving some BBQ. The flame-grilled beef patty is topped with golden onion rings and smoky BBQ sauce, and everything is served on a sesame seed bun. If you want to dress it up more, you can add cheese, lettuce, tomato, or mayonnaise.
9. Bacon King
The Bacon King is the burger for the carnivores. It combines thick-cut bacon with two beef patties for a lot of meat in one tasty burger. It’s made of two ¼ lb. flame-grilled patties and a hearty portion of smoked bacon. These are topped with American cheese, ketchup, and mayonnaise and served on a sesame seed bun. If you are a dedicated carnivore, you can also add an extra burger patty!
8. Whopper Jr.
The Whopper Jr. is a smaller version of the original fan favorite Whopper. The reduced size means it’s great as a snack or a light meal. Like the original, the smaller flame-grilled patty is topped with tomatoes, lettuce, pickles, onions, mayonnaise, and ketchup, and everything is served on a sesame seed bun. If you want more on this junior burger, you can customize it by adding bacon, cheese, mustard, or another patty.
7. Cheeseburger
Cheese makes anything better, and that’s especially true for hamburgers. Burger King’s cheeseburger is the perfect snack any time throughout the day. It includes a flame-grilled beef patty, melted American cheese, pickles, yellow mustard, and ketchup and is served on a toasted sesame seed bun. Customization options include adding bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, or mayonnaise.
6. Single Quarter Pound King
This burger focuses on the beef patty, but it’s far from being plain or boring. It uses the right ingredients for a vinegar zest that accents the flame-grilled goodness. Melted American cheese, sliced onions, zesty pickles, ketchup, and mustard top a ¼ lb. beef patty, and everything is served on a toasted sesame seed bun. Want to customize it? Add bacon, lettuce, tomato, or mayonnaise.
5. Texas Double Whopper
Everything is bigger in Texas, and that’s where this Whopper got its name from. It combines fresh toppings with cheese and lots of meat to create one of my favorite burgers at Burger King. It comes with two ¼ lb. flame-grilled patties, thick-cut bacon, and melted American cheese. These are topped with fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayonnaise, and mustard, and everything is served on a sesame seed bun. While this burger already has nearly every topping, you can add another patty if you are going for the ultimate feast!
4. Big King
This burger stands tall with a lot of meat and crunch. It’s also topped with Burger King’s special stacker sauce that gives it a unique flavor. It comes on and off the menu as a limited-time item, so be on the lookout and grab one while you can. It includes two flame-grilled beef patties, lettuce, onion, pickles, and American cheese. These are topped with the stacker sauce, and everything is served on a toasted sesame seed bun.
3. Impossible Whopper
Burger King launched the Impossible Whopper a few years ago to respond to the growing demand for plant-based alternatives in the fast food world. The patty here is made primarily from soy and potato protein, and you can order your burger without mayonnaise for a vegan option. Just note that these plant-based patties are still cooked on the same broiler as the beef patties, so strict vegetarians and vegans may want to steer away.
2. Bacon Cheeseburger
Bacon is the perfect topping on nearly anything, and if it’s on a cheeseburger, sign me up! I always order this burger at Burger King when I want a quick snack or a light meal. It comes with a flame-grilled patty, smoked bacon, American cheese, pickles, ketchup, and mustard on a toasted sesame seed bun. Remember, you can always add an extra patty if you want to make it more filling.
1. Whopper
Ah, the Whopper! How can you say no to it when you are hungry? This is undoubtedly the best Burger King burger and one of my favorite fast-food burgers of all time. It pretty much has all the ingredients that make a great burger. It comes with a quarter-pound flame-grilled beef patty on a sesame seed bun, which is topped with freshly cut tomatoes, lettuce, mayonnaise, ketchup, white onions, and pickles. Want more with it? Add bacon, cheese, or mustard to “Have it your way!”
