How to Contact Costco Customer Service by Phone and Live Chat

Costco is known to have one of the best customer service departments that can be contacted in person, online, or by phone. They also offer live chat support, which is my favorite way to get in touch with them.

If you are wondering about Costco’s customer service number and hours, keep reading because I’ve compiled all this information for you in one place.

What Is Costco’s Customer Service Number?

The main Costco Customer Service number for general questions is 1-800-774-2678, and support is available Monday to Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. PT and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT on weekends.

Does Costco Offer Live Chat Support?

Costco offers live chat support during customer service hours. This is my preferred way to get in touch with them. Here’s how to contact Costco via live chat:

1. Go to customerservice.costco.com.
2. Click on “Contact Us” at the bottom of the menu on the left side of the screen, then select “Chat Us.”
3. You will be redirected to the Live Help webpage, where you will need to fill out the form to contact support.
4. First, choose the department you’d like to contact. You can choose between Costco Online, Warehouse or Membership, or Costco Business. The department must be open at the time, or else you will not be able to select it.
5. In the next line, choose your chat subject. Based on the department you chose, topics will vary.
6. Fill in your first and last name as well as your email address.
7. If you want to chat about a specific order, enter your order number.
8. Enter your Costco membership number.
9. Write a short and descriptive message in the bottom box. Include any details necessary for a support team member to send you a helpful, quick, and accurate reply.
10. When you have completed the form, click on “Start Chat” at the bottom of the page to connect with a Costco support team member.

For security reasons, Costco’s live chat support cannot process membership fees or credit card transactions.

Can You Contact Costco Customer Service via Email?

Unfortunately, Costco does not offer customer support via email. The best alternative is to contact them using live chat, as I explained in the previous section. There is also an option to leave general feedback on their website and mobile app.

To leave feedback on the website, click on the blue tab on the right-hand side that says “Feedback.” The feedback button can be found at the bottom of the screen if you are using a mobile device.

How to Contact Costco Citi Card Customer Service

Costco Citi Card Customer Service can be contacted directly through Citi Bank. You can call 1-855-378-6467 for consumer cards and 1-855-378-6468 for business cards. In addition, they can be contacted online at www.citi.com.

If your Costco Citi Card is not working, it may be because the card has not yet been activated. You can check the status of your card and activate it on Citi’s website. They can also help to troubleshoot any problems that may arise in the process.
