Aldi Delivery: How It Works and How to Order Using Instacart

Aldi offers great prices on all your grocery needs, and now it is easier than ever to shop at Aldi online. Aldi has teamed up with Instacart so you can get your groceries delivered in just a couple of hours.

This $10 minimum includes only the subtotal of your grocery items, and it does not include the additional delivery fees and tips associated with your order.

Once you have placed your Aldi delivery order, you can change any items through Instacart.

You will be notified when an Instacart shopper begins shopping for your order, and at that point, you can message them about any item changes or replacements. You can request changes up until the shopper goes to checkout.

Here is the step-by-step process on how to order from Aldi online using the Instacart app:

3. Shop for products by searching or browsing the various categories on the app.

4. Once you finish adding items to your cart, open the cart to review your order. Here you will see your subtotal and expected time of your delivery.

5. Go to the Checkout. Fill out delivery and payment information and submit the order. Soon, an Instacart shopper will accept the order, and the groceries will be delivered to your door.

How Much Does Aldi Delivery Cost?

Aldi delivery costs $3.99 if your order subtotal is $35 or more. If your order is under $35 or a one-hour delivery, the delivery cost will be higher. You can also purchase an Instacart Express membership to get free delivery from Aldi on all orders over $35.

You may notice that some prices seen on Aldi’s Instacart storefront are higher than those seen in-store. These online prices are slightly higher to cover the cost of personal shopping by Instacart employees.

The Instacart Express membership also saves you an average of $7 on each order. Additionally, you will have lower service fees than regular Instacart users without a membership.

How Long Does Aldi Delivery Take?

Aldi Delivery can take as little as one hour. You can also schedule the time of your delivery when you order through Instacart up to seven days out. Most Aldi stores are open from 9 am-8 pm, so you can schedule your delivery from 10 am-9 pm. Schedule your order a few days in advance to ensure it is delivered on time.

You will pay a higher delivery fee if you want your Aldi order delivered within an hour. This extra fee will ensure that an Instacart shopper accepts your order so it can be delivered on time.

Aldi deliveries ordered more than an hour in advance will be scheduled for a two-hour window that you can select.

You can choose a delivery day up to a week in advance. However, make sure you choose a delivery time when you will be home to prevent groceries from being left outside for too long.

Does Aldi Accept Coupons?

You will need to enter your zip code to determine if you live near an Aldi that accepts EBT for online orders.

You also have 24 hours after receiving your Aldi delivery to adjust the tip amount. You can increase or decrease the tip after you rate your Instacart order.

Adding a tip to your order right when you place it can increase the chance of an Instacart shopper accepting your order right away.

This is because Instacart shoppers can see the tips they will receive with each order before accepting it. However, your order will be delivered regardless of how you choose to tip.
