How Does Aldi Delivery Work?
Aldi delivery orders are placed and fulfilled through the Instacart app or the website. An Instacart shopper will accept your order and purchase all items in the store. Then, the shopper will deliver the groceries to your door. Instacart makes it easy to communicate with your shopper for any changes to the order.
Aldi delivery through Instacart offers contactless delivery. With contactless delivery, the shopper will take a picture of your groceries at your door, and you will be notified that your groceries have arrived.
The minimum order for Aldi delivery is $10. The Aldi Instacart checkout section of the app will alert you if you have not yet reached this minimum.
This $10 minimum includes only the subtotal of your grocery items, and it does not include the additional delivery fees and tips associated with your order.
Once you have placed your Aldi delivery order, you can change any items through Instacart.
You will be notified when an Instacart shopper begins shopping for your order, and at that point, you can message them about any item changes or replacements. You can request changes up until the shopper goes to checkout.
Sometimes the Aldi store does not have the item you ordered in stock. When this occurs, the Instacart shopper can replace the item with an alternative that you pre-selected, or they will contact you via the app to determine the best replacement.
Instacart also allows shoppers to refund items if there are no adequate replacements.
If you receive an unacceptable item from your Aldi Instacart delivery, you can request a refund.
All Aldi refunds for delivery orders are handled through the Instacart app. You must request a refund within a week of the delivery.
You can also return food items delivered to you by going directly to the Aldi store. According to Aldi’s ‘Twice as Nice Guarantee,’ you can return items that do not meet your quality standards, and Aldi will both replace the product and refund your money.
Keep in mind that you must provide your digital Instacart receipt to return items at Aldi stores. To report a problem with your Aldi delivery order, you can contact Instacart Customer Service at 1-888-246-7822.

How Long Does Aldi Delivery Take?
Aldi Delivery can take as little as one hour. You can also schedule the time of your delivery when you order through Instacart up to seven days out. Aldi deliveries ordered more than an hour in advance will be scheduled for a two-hour window that you can select.
You can choose a delivery day up to a week in advance. However, make sure you choose a delivery time when you will be home to prevent groceries from being left outside for too long.

Does Aldi Take EBT for Delivery?
Aldi takes EBT for delivery from most stores. Simply add your EBT card information under the “Payment Methods” section of the Instacart app or website. Then, you will indicate how much of your benefits can be applied to your order. These funds will be used on any EBT-eligible items in your cart.
You will need to enter your zip code to determine if you live near an Aldi that accepts EBT for online orders.
If your local Aldi store qualifies, you will be able to apply your EBT benefits to the order total.
Additional fees will be charged to a different payment method that you will need to enter. These fees include tips, delivery fees, and taxes.
Hi! Customers can set a tip when they first place an order at checkout. After delivery, the Instacart app and website invite customers to rate their experience and add, increase, or decrease a tip. They can make changes to tips for up to 24 hours after an order is completed.

Do You Tip Aldi Delivery?
We recommend that you tip Aldi delivery drivers at least 15-20% of your order total. Aldi delivery uses Instacart, and Instacart shoppers keep 100% of their tips. You will have the option to tip through the Instacart app before or after your delivery, but tipping before may help you receive your order faster.
Tips are optional for Aldi delivery. However, when you check out on the Instacart app or website, you will see that a 5% tip is automatically added to your order. Instacart makes it easy to change the tip amount at checkout.
You also have 24 hours after receiving your Aldi delivery to adjust the tip amount. You can increase or decrease the tip after you rate your Instacart order.
Adding a tip to your order right when you place it can increase the chance of an Instacart shopper accepting your order right away.
This is because Instacart shoppers can see the tips they will receive with each order before accepting it. However, your order will be delivered regardless of how you choose to tip.
Conclusion
Aldi and Instacart have teamed up to bring Aldi grocery deliveries right to your door. With many Instacart promos, including a free month of the Instacart Express membership, you can have groceries delivered at an affordable price.
