18 Best Subway No Bready Protein Bowls

Subway is well known for its salads, wraps, and sandwiches, but the protein bowls are a newer addition to the Subway menu.

As in their name, Subway’s No Bready Bowls are served with no bread in a bowl. These Subway bowls are the perfect option if you are on a protein-heavy diet.

Many believe that Subway bowls are the same as a Subway salad, with a different name; however, these bowls provide twice as much meat and protein as regular Subway salads.

This means Subway protein bowls provide the same amount of protein in the footlong sandwiches minus the bread.

Subway’s No Bready Bowls (also known as Protein Bowls) are served in a bowl, just like the salad. And like salads, the calorie count of these bowls will vary greatly depending on customizations made.

If you just finished your workout and are ready to meet your protein intake for the day, read on to find out more about Subway’s No Bready Bowls!

18. Tuna

Filled with a footlong worth of tuna mixed with mayo—the Tuna No Bready Bowl also includes lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions.

When ordering the tuna bowl, make sure to add your choice of American pepper jack, provolone, Monterey cheddar, or Swiss cheese.

This bowl can also taste great with a little extra mayo added.

17. B.L.T.

A simple sandwich and classic favorite, the B.L.T. also tastes delicious as a Subway Protein Bowl.

Packed with crispy bacon, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions, this crunchy bowl will fill you up.

The B.L.T. Bowl pairs amazingly with roasted garlic aioli or mayonnaise to add some extra flavor.

16. Black Forest Ham

The Black Forest Ham bowl includes ham, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions.

I love adding the Monterey cheddar cheese and the mayonnaise or yellow mustard onto this bowl to make it extra flavorful.

Without the extra add-ons, the Black Forest Ham Subway No Bready Bowl contains a very low-calorie count of 170 calories.

15. Roast Beef

If you love the savory, tender taste of roast beef, choose the Roast Beef No Bready Bowl.

It is filled with roast beef, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions.

Some delicious customizations to add to this bowl include provolone cheese and roasted garlic aioli sauce.

14. Oven Roasted Turkey

Covered in turkey, the Oven Roasted Turkey Subway Protein Bowl also includes lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions.

Just as with the roast beef, the turkey tastes great with provolone cheese.

To add a little more of a sweet taste to your bowl, have some honey mustard sauce sprinkled on top.

13. The Avocado Spike Bowl by Gronk

Found on the Online Exclusive Menu, the Avocado Spike Bowl by Gronk is the only Subway No Bready Bowl that doesn’t include meat for protein.

This Subway Protein Bowl contains lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, and green peppers for the vegetables.

In addition, it has shredded Monterey cheddar, smashed avocado, and Baja Chipotle Sauce.

The smashed avocado serves as the protein in this bowl.

If you want to add even more protein, feel free to customize this bowl with your choice of meat.

I am a huge avocado fan, so this bowl, mixed with the smoky taste of the Chipotle sauce, is one of my favorites!

12. Cold Cut Combo

The Cold Cut Combo Bowl is filled to the brim with protein and 9 grams of carbs!

Piled high with turkey-based ham, salami, and bologna, this bowl is also topped with tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions on top of lettuce and spinach.

If you love to bring on the heat, go with the Buffalo Chicken Subway Protein Bowl.

To minimize a little bit of the spice, the bowl is drizzled with creamy peppercorn ranch.

The Buffalo Chicken Bowl has 10 grams of carbs and 380 calories without customizations.

10. Oven Roasted Turkey and Ham

Personally, I prefer oven-roasted turkey and ham to just one or the other as it combines the unique flavors of both types of meat.

In addition to these two types of meat, this bowl also contains lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions.

The Oven Roasted Turkey and Ham Bowl tastes even better with your choice of cheese and sauce added.

9. Pizza Sub

The Pizza Sub Bowl is one of the most delicious and caloric Subway protein bowls.

With 620 calories, it is filled with your favorite pizza toppings!

If you want one of the healthier Subway protein bowl options, the Spicy Italian is not the one for you.

7. Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki

Another grilled chicken bowl at Subway is the Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki.

The difference between this and buffalo chicken is the sauce used in the bowl.

Lettuce and spinach covered in cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and grilled chicken smothered in the sweet onion teriyaki sauce are what make up this delicious bowl.

Even though it adds 100 more calories to the 330-calorie bowl, it tastes even more delectable with provolone cheese added.

6. Italian B.M.T.

Another meat-packed protein bowl is the Italian B.M.T.

It includes ham, pepperoni, salami, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions, all on top of lettuce and spinach.

Full of some extra zing, the Chicken and Bacon Ranch Bowl is a delicious option at Subway.

This bowl contains bacon, rotisserie-style chicken, Monterey cheddar cheese, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions.

All of these crunchy ingredients are topped with peppercorn ranch and spicy chipotle sauce.

The Chicken and Bacon Ranch Bowl is 760 calories with the ingredients above unless you decide to add more.

4. Steak and Cheese

The Steak and Cheese Subway Protein Bowl includes juicy steak, Monterey cheddar cheese, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions.

I personally love to swap the Monterey cheddar cheese in this bowl with the provolone cheese instead.

It also tastes delicious with the red wine vinegar sauce poured on top!

3. Rotisserie Style Chicken

Using the same meat as the Chicken and Bacon Ranch Bowl, the Rotisserie-Style Chicken Bowl takes away the bacon and cheese.

It is filled with chicken, lettuce, spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, black olives, and red onions.

It also tastes great with any of the following sauces: MVP Parmesan Vinaigrette, sweet onion teriyaki, Baja chipotle, or peppercorn ranch.

Although simple, Subway’s Grilled Chicken Bowl still is packed with flavor.
