13 Best Pumpkin Drinks to Order at Starbucks
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! No, not the holidays — we’re talking about the pumpkin drinks season at Starbucks! Fall’s favorite accessory is back in the form of Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, and more!
There are six different pumpkin drinks on the official Starbucks menu – all made with their pumpkin spice sauce and pumpkin spice blend. The fan-created Starbucks Secret Menu also includes several pumpkin drinks, and I’ve included the best of them on my list, including how to order them.
13. Pumpkin Patch Latte (Secret Menu)
The Pumpkin Patch Latte is a great Starbucks Secret Menu drink for those who find the classic Pumpkin Spice Latte too sweet. It combines the earthy flavors of matcha, the vegetal flavors of pumpkin, and the sweet and spicy flavors of pumpkin pie spice. If you’re looking for a more savory pumpkin drink, this may be the one for you.
How to Order It:
Ask for a Pumpkin Spice Latte in any Starbucks size, hot or cold, with matcha powder added to it. Unfortunately, this Secret Menu drink must be ordered in person, as there’s no way to request matcha in your PSL online or on the Starbucks app.
12. Harry Potter’s Pumpkin Juice (Secret Menu)
Muggles, rejoice! Thanks to the Starbucks Secret Menu, you don’t need to go to The Wizarding World to enjoy this Harry Potter-inspired beverage.
This drink is a simple and refreshing blend, and while it may not be my favorite pumpkin drink at Starbucks, it’s perfect for the little ones.
How to Order It:
Ask for two pumps of pumpkin spice sauce in a grande cup. Ask for it to be filled with apple juice to the top line. Have the remainder of the cup filled with ice.
11. Pumpkin Spice Crème Frappuccino
The Pumpkin Spice Crème Frappuccino has all of fall’s highly anticipated flavors in one creamy, caffeine-free (adult and kid-friendly) treat! It’s a sweet and frosty drink that’s a little more “dessert-y” than many other pumpkin drinks on our list.
It’s made from milk, pumpkin spice syrup, and Starbucks’ crème frappuccino syrup (a blend of sugar, flavorings, and thickeners) blended with ice. It’s then topped with whipped cream and a pumpkin spice topping.
10. Pumpkin Hot Chocolate (Secret Menu)
The jury’s still out on whether the Pumpkin Hot Chocolate is better than regular old hot chocolate. But if you’re craving something sweet and festive on a chilly night, this is a delicious option. It’s also the best way to kickstart a trick-or-treating night because what’s Halloween without chocolate?
How to Order It:
Ask for a grande Hot Chocolate with two pumps of pumpkin spice sauce — bonus points if you add whipped cream and pumpkin spice blend on top! This drink can be ordered in person, online, or on the Starbucks app.
9. Pumpkin Cheesecake Frappuccino (Secret Menu)
This Starbucks Secret Menu pumpkin drink is both sweet and sophisticated. It’s creamy, rich, and decadent and is the perfect afternoon treat on a sunny autumn day. It’s remarkable how similar it tastes to its namesake dessert!
How to Order It:
Ask for a grande Pumpkin Spice Crème Frappuccino. Add two pumps of cinnamon dolce syrup, two scoops of vanilla bean powder, and two pumps of white chocolate mocha sauce.
8. Pumpkin Spice Crème
If you’re in the mood for a cozy and coffee-free fall drink, the Pumpkin Spice Crème will be right up your alley. It’s sweet, spicy, flavorful, and is great for children or anyone avoiding caffeine.
It’s made from steamed milk combined with pumpkin sauce. It’s then topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice topping.
7. Cinderella Latte (Secret Menu)
The Cinderella Latte is an enchanting blend of pumpkin spice and white chocolate mocha. It’s simple to order and absolutely delicious!
How to Order It:
Ask for a grande Pumpkin Spice Latte (hot or iced) with just two pumps of pumpkin spice syrup. Add two pumps of white chocolate mocha sauce.
6. Caramel Pumpkin Macchiato (Secret Menu)
The Caramel Pumpkin Macchiato is another Secret Menu drink that’s just a small tweak to the official menu but has a major impact. It’s one of the best Starbucks pumpkin drinks because it’s big on fall flavor without being too sweet.
How to Order It:
Ask for a Caramel Macchiato (any size, hot or iced) with pumpkin spice syrup instead of vanilla syrup. It truly couldn’t be any easier to order!
5. Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte
For those who crave pumpkin spice served over ice, there exists the Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte. It’s the same PSL we’ve all grown to love but in a refreshing iced form. It’s made from milk combined with pumpkin sauce and brewed espresso. The drink is then topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice topping.
4. Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino
The Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino is almost the same as the Pumpkin Spice Crème Frappuccino, with the addition of coffee, making it an even better pumpkin drink in my book. It’s a delicious, blended treat that combines some of the best classic fall flavors.
This drink is made from coffee, pumpkin syrup, milk, and Starbucks’ coffee frappuccino syrup, blended with ice. It’s topped with whipped cream and a combination of ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove.
3. Pumpkin Chai Latte (Secret Menu)
The Pumpkin Chai Latte is the best Starbucks Secret Menu pumpkin drink, and it gets bonus points for how easy it is to order! It’s a cozy, warming combination of some of fall’s favorite flavors.
How to Order It:
Ask for a grande Chai Tea Latte with only two pumps of chai. Add two pumps of pumpkin spice sauce. Top it with whipped cream and pumpkin spice topping.
2. Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
The Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew is a decadent Starbucks drink perfect for those sunny but slightly cooler days transitioning from summer to fall. It has all the pumpkin spice flavors we know and love but in a refreshing and energizing cold brew format.
The drink starts with Starbucks’ signature small-batch cold brew coffee. The cold brew is sweetened with a splash of vanilla syrup, topped with pumpkin cream cold foam, and a dusting of pumpkin pie spices.
1. Pumpkin Spice Latte
The Pumpkin Spice Latte, or PSL, is the best pumpkin drink at Starbucks, and it’s going to take a lot to dethrone this classic. Many new pumpkin drinks have tried, but they all seem to fall short! This creamy, spicy latte is the ubiquitous fall accessory, even if it seems to come out earlier each year.
It’s made from steamed milk, pumpkin sauce, and brewed espresso. It’s then topped with whipped cream and pumpkin spice topping — an autumnal blend of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and clove.
