Costco Must-Haves This Month: Food Deals to Stock Up On

Costco Warehouse Savings – Credit: Samantha Jenkins/Shopfood.com

Each month, Costco comes out with a coupon book full of exciting deals, and this month’s Costco ad is no different. You really save more when you shop their sales ad, which is basically their monthly coupon book.

If you’re wondering about the best grocery deals at Costco in December, I went to my local warehouse and compiled a list for you. These savings are only valid through December 24, so make sure to shop before then if any of these finds caught your eye.

1. Savanna Orchards Honey Roasted Nuts Mix ($10.49)

If sweet and salty snacks are your thing, this nut mix is a must-try! Thanks to this month’s Costco flyer, you can snag an almost 2-pound jar for just $10.49—$3 off the regular price.

The mix features cashews, almonds, pecans, and pistachios, offering a variety of flavors and textures in each handful. As someone who isn’t a big fan of straight-up peanuts, I appreciate seeing a nut mix that focuses on these slightly less common nuts.

2. Hippeas Variety Pack ($9.49)

Even if chickpeas aren’t your favorite, skipping out on Hippeas would be a mistake. These puffed snacks deliver the familiar taste and crunch of classic cheese puffs, but they’re completely vegan and much healthier, made from a blend of chickpea and rice flour.

Each box includes 26 snack-sized bags—13 in the tangy Vegan White Cheddar flavor and 13 in the bold Nacho flavor.

3. Crunchmaster Multi-Grain 6 Seed ($7.69)

These baked multi-grain crackers are a must-have for your holiday charcuterie board! Made with a blend of sesame, flax, chia, quinoa, millet, and amaranth seeds, they’re baked to perfection for a super crunchy bite every time.

Each box includes two individually sealed bags, keeping the crackers fresh longer and making them convenient for entertaining or snacking. This month, you can snag a pack for $3.30 off the usual price.

4. Organic Tasty Bite Madras Lentils ($10.99)

If you’re looking for a quick, easy way to incorporate Indian flavors into your life, look no further. Costco offers a value pack of 8 pouches of precooked lentil mix by Tasty Bite, made with red beans, aromatic spices, and a rich, creamy tomato sauce. With just a hint of heat, it’s mild enough to please even the spice-averse

Serve it over fluffy rice or pair it with warm naan for a delicious, hassle-free meal. Simply pop a pouch in the microwave for one minute, and dinner is ready to enjoy.

5. Barilla Pasta Variety Pack ($7.49)

If you’re not particularly loyal to any pasta shape, these variety packs of Barilla pasta are a fun option. Each comes with 7 boxes of pasta: 2 farfalle (AKA bowties, my favorite), 3 elbows (perfect for wintertime soups), and 2 rotini shapes (my favorite for making pasta salad).

Thanks to Costco’s current $2 discount, you get all this pasta for around $1 per box. It’s a fantastic deal to stock up your pantry with high-quality pasta.

6. Bibigo Beef Mandu ($9.99)

These beef bulgogi dumplings are one of my favorite Costco repurchases, and they’re on sale for less than $10 per bag this month. These extra-large dumplings are stuffed with Korean-style beef bulgogi, along with veggies like carrots and peas.

Beef bulgogi is both sweet and savory at the same time. I usually pair these dumplings with rice and some frozen veggies. I prefer to cook these in a pan on the stove to get a nice sear on the outside, but since they’re precooked, it doesn’t take more than 5 minutes.

7. Yakisoba Noodles with Vegetables ($10.99)

This frozen Asian entree is jam-packed with veggies and flavor. These stir-fried noodles have fresh veggies like broccoli, pepper, snap peas, and mushrooms mixed throughout, plus an umami sauce coating the whole thing.

Each box includes six individual noodle packs that can be heated in the microwave and ready to enjoy in about 3 minutes. Priced at $10.99 per box, each serving comes out to less than $2—the perfect easy, budget-friendly lunch!

8. Kerrygold Salted Irish Butter ($11.49)

How does regular butter compare to Kerrygold? Honestly, I’m not sure because I’ve never tried it—but plenty of people swear by this Irish butter for both cooking and baking.

If you’re curious to try it, Costco has a deal: four 8 oz bars for $11.49, down from the usual $14.49 price tag. You’ll also find an unsalted version in the same section, which is perfect for baking since most recipes often call for unsalted butter.

9. Kirkland Signature Sausage & Beef Lasagna ($12.99)

If you’re looking to feed a hungry crowd, this two-pack of lasagna, totaling 6 lbs, should do the trick. Each lasagna is packed with layers of ground beef, tomatoes, mozzarella, ricotta, and savory Italian sausage, creating a comforting, hearty meal.

Since they come frozen, you can enjoy one now and save the other for later. This is ideal for those chilly winter evenings when you want a warm, satisfying dinner without the drama. Right now, you can grab this lasagna at Costco for $3.80 off the regular price.

10. Phillips Crab Cake Minis ($15.89)

Credit: Samantha Jenkins/Shopfood.com

Normally priced at $19.89, these miniature crab cakes are now just $15.89 for the next few weeks. Each pack includes 36 bite-sized cakes made with premium wild-caught crab meat.

They’re the perfect appetizer for any upcoming holiday or New Year’s Eve gathering—simply serve them on toothpicks alongside cocktail sauce and tartar sauce for a crowd-pleasing treat.

11. Junior’s Mini Cheesecakes ($12.49)

The theme of “perfect for holiday parties” is in full swing in this month’s Costco ad, and these mini cheesecakes are no exception. Each pack includes 34 bite-sized cheesecakes featuring a variety of flavors: classic original, strawberry swirl, and chocolate swirl.

Since these cheesecakes are frozen, be sure to give them enough time to defrost. I recommend about 3 hours in the refrigerator, followed by 1 hour at room temperature for the best texture and flavor.

12. Pillsbury Crescent Rolls ($7.99)

Credit: Samantha Jenkins/Shopfood.com

For just under $8, you can grab a 40-pack of crescent rolls at Costco through December 24. These are perfect for stocking up and serving as the starter for your holiday dinner. I’ve always baked them in the oven, but I noticed the ones at Costco are now labeled as “air-fryer ready.”

I picked up a pack and plan on throwing them in the air fryer right before Thanksgiving dinner for a super crispy start to our meal.

13. Fratelli Beretta Prosciutto Di Parma ($8.99)

Credit: Samantha Jenkins/Shopfood.com

Prosciutto is a welcome addition to pasta, pizzas, cheese boards, and sandwiches in my house. This two-pack is on sale for just under $9 at Costco right now. There’s enough meat here to make a handful of servings of whatever you’re craving.

My favorite way to use prosciutto is to pair it with some focaccia bread, tomatoes, arugula, fresh mozzarella, and a dash of seasoned olive oil.

14. Tipiak French Macarons ($9.49)

Credit: Samantha Jenkins/Shopfood.com

How cute are these boxes of French macarons? They make the perfect gift for any host or hostess during the holiday season. Each box includes 36 elegant cookies in six flavors: salted caramel, pistachio, chocolate, French vanilla, raspberry, and crème brulée.

With a delicate crunch on the outside, a soft, moist interior, and a creamy, perfectly sweet filling, these macarons are sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Plus, they come in festive packaging that’s gift-ready—no wrapping required!
