Trader Joe’s Almond Windmill Cookies and Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies Recalled for Potentially Containing Rocks

Trader Joe’s issued a recall for its Almond Windmill Cookies (SKU# 98744) and Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies (SKU# 82752) on July 21, 2023.

The supplier of the cookies alerted Trader Joe’s that the products with the following “Sell By” date codes may contain rocks in them:

  • Almond Windmill Cookies with a Sell By date of 10/19/23 through 10/21/23
  • Dark Chocolate Chunk and Almond Cookies with a Sell By date of 10/17/23 through 10/21/23

Trader Joe’s removed all potentially affected products from its shelves, so they are not available for sale.

However, if you purchased any of these recalled cookies, do not eat them. You can throw them away or return them to any Trader Joe’s location for a full refund.

If you have any questions, you can contact Trader Joe’s customer service at (626) 599-3817 or send them an email.
